Hi Thomas,
I read the GBSG2 data set from library(TH.data) into Excel using SExcel.
I tried to run some simple code: summary(GBSG2). I typed the code on the function line in Excel
and clicked the Run R button. Nothing happened. What should I have done?

I checked and I do not get a popup menu when I click on run R, I do get one for R Put and R Get.

Can reproduce the problem (though I have an entry in a cell's popup menu).
But is filed as bug #28

Hi Thomas,
Time-wise when would you expect to fix this bug? I am asking as I am trying to use the software for a class I will teach starting in January 2018. Should I look for something else for my students or do you expect it will be repaired shortly.

If no further problems arise, the bug will be fixed in the next release end of this week

the bug is fixed in the 4.1.0-0B1 relesae already available from the download area
