I'm very sorry, but this was a mistake from my side. Another SCTools.dll. Please report if it works now.

It doesn't work. It kinda gets stuck or loops or something. The Close Button doesn't become clickable (at least not in like the one or two minutes that I waited) and I get the message "An action cannot be completed because a component () is not responding. Choose "Switch To" to activate the component and correct the problem." When I clicked into the main window of the Test.
Underneath are three buttons, switch to, retry and (greyed out) cancel.
Nothing did anything. So I killed the processes in the task manager.

A simple fix might be to download Rcmdr and RcmdrPlugin.HH via RStudio then to update all packages including dependencies. I used this method of installation during testing and RExcel is working fine. I'm running Windows 10, Excel 2013 32 bit, and the current version of R. Also tested on Excel 2016 and the installation was fine.

To be clear, here's what I did :
